As Chairman of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus I would like to invite you to attend the 2010 Georgia Legislative Black Caucus Heritage Dinner. This annual event will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Georgia Freight Deport in Atlanta, Georgia. The theme for this event is A Vision for a New America.
The GLBC Heritage Dinner is one of the most successful and well-attended cultural events around the Georgia State Capitol during the legislative session. This GLBC dinner celebrates our rich African American history by exhibiting paintings, music, and dance as well as acknowledges community activists who diligently serve to improve and enhance communities of color in Georgia.
Enclosed is sponsorship and registration information. Our 501(3) nonprofit organization would be honored to have you and your organization/agency as a sponsor for this event and would be humbled if you would accept our invitation to come and join us for dinner. Proceeds raised help to support our Young Scholars Scholarship and Legislative Internship programs.
