About the GLBC:
The Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, Inc. is the largest black caucus in a state legislature in the United States, currently with 60 members elected to the Georgia General Assembly. We are a 501 c(3) Non-Profit Corporation, financed through the generous support of our members, leading companies and organizations that support the mission of the GLBC.
The GLBC has two major events a year for members, The Heritage Dinner and the Annual Legislative Conference. These events bring together hundreds of legislators, business executives, thought leaders and citizens to celebrate the achievements of the GLBC, honor outstanding citizens and network to discuss current events and issues.
The GLBC also holds educational symposiums during the year, and trains Interns to serve during the General Assembly session, providing an opportunity for students of color from Georgia colleges and universities to learn first-hand about the legislative process.
We publish a Newsletter, send email updates, and hold press conferences on critical issues which need media attention.
At all of GLBC dinners, conferences and symposiums, there are opportunities for networking, sponsorship and exhibiting, an opportunity to show the support of your company for the principals and work of the GLBC.
