GLBC’s Annual Legislative Conference, Aug. 11-12, 2017 in Savannah, GA.
The Georgia Legislative Black Caucus’s Annual Legislative Conference is a ‘can’t miss’ event, bringing together both legislative, issues and business leaders for two days to talk about upcoming legislation and the needs of Georgia’s citizens. This year’s event will be held August 11 to 12, 2017 in the beautiful city of Savannah.
On Friday morning August 11, attendees can choose golf or sightseeing at outstanding facilities in Savannah, while spending time in a relaxed setting with GLBC members. Golf teams are welcomed at a discounted price!
Friday evening features a dinner cruise and great band on the new ‘Georgia Queen’ on the Savannah River. You’ll capture the evening breezes while you dine and socialize with friends and associates.
The conference hotel is The Desoto, located at 15 E. Liberty Street, Savannah. GA. 31401. The Desoto has just gone through a multi-million dollar renovation, features a rooftop pool, and is centrally located in Savannah’s Historic District … a short walk to restaurants, bars and evening entertainment.
There are also many other fine hotels and Bed & Breakfast inns in the immediate area to consider if The Desoto is full. Consult www.VisitSavannah.com for lodgings.
All Conference Sessions and breakfast and luncheon events will be held at The Desoto Hilton.
The GLBC is honored to feature a long list of FEATURED SPEAKERS and PANELISTS for the Conference. The tentative program is outlined below.
